Sports Board Calendar 2017-18

University has Gymnasium and number of playgrounds in its own campus for indoor and outdoor games and sports. Stadiums of international standard, swimming pool, badminton halls, situated at Kota city and maintained by public bodies are also being used by the students.

a.)    Indoor 

University Sports Board multi purpose gymnasium hall highly equipped with the International level indoor hall. The facilities mentioned below -

At present 16 station multi gym space along with treadmill, stationary cycle, Strength exercise machine, Inclined-declined flat benchesetc is present at the gym area.

b.)    Outdoor playfield 

•    Using old campus of University of Kota namely DIET campus for organizing practical training & sports competition.
•    Athletics Track – Under construction (by the assistance of UGC grant and funding by own resources)
•    Outdoor play field football, hockey, handball, volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho - Kho , Cricket (Proposed). 

c.)    Academics 

•    Two classrooms i.e. Room no.324,326
•    One laboratory  Room no. 328(Physiotherapy, Health education  Physiology)
•    One Assistant Director room
•    One faculty room/staff room
•    One room for examination purpose
•    Two office rooms 
•    Two staff rooms

Sparkling moments of sports board –

• Salman khan, the member of university cricket team (Men) selected to represent India under-19 cricket team for England tour of India 2017.(Presently the series is going on )
• Sanjay Bharti , the member of university cricket team (Men) selected to represent Vizzi trophy west zone cricket team for the session 2007-08. 
• Aman Singh Rajawat, the member of university cricket team (Men) selected to represent Vizzi trophy west zone cricket team for the session 2015-16.
• Department of physical education & sports board successfully organized the 4 kms. race  “Run for nation” under Bharat MeraGhar celebration week. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, D.I.G police of kota range, flag of the race, all the staff, students of university took   participation in that
